Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the WINTER sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Factory has 30% off everything and free shipping on any order with PRESDAY.

As far as sale goes, my B&M had a big sale section, which I wasn't expecting since it was nearly cleaned out last time I visited a B&M. Lots of Tippis in byzantine blue and Jackies in iced lilac, some Liberty shirts, and double-serge pencil skirts for $79.99. They were doing 30% off sale, and the SA said they could price match specific items in-store that were less online.

  2. My B&M has 30% off final sale, 25% off all scarves, and 25% off all sweaters. I picked up the Peplum Boucle Jacket which was on sale for $99 before discount, and they were able to honor the 40% off online promo per my request. $60 for the jacket isn't too bad!

  3. Didn't get to go into the store but definitely made a purchase with the additional 40% off and free shipping sale online. Posted my purchases on my blog.

  4. A little OT, but has anyone seen or tried on (or own) the Collection mixed stitch cashmere sweater. I'm really tempted by the bright poppy colour, but would love to hear any reviews/opinions regarding the quality/fit/colour/style.

  5. Just left the willow grove store and they were preparing 50% off signs (should've asked what for..) Most of the items were full price, although they are on sale online.

  6. I was really dissapointed with the J.Crew sale section in their downtown Seattle location. It was very small. In fact, maybe the smallest I have ever seen it. They were offering an additional 30% off and 25% off of their full price sweaters. Not enough to sway me for anything. I didn't find anything I truly loved in the sale section. The really cute neon purses were there though and they caught my eye.

  7. I went in to return some online sale purchases but got there right before closing so there wasn't any time to browse around. The store looks really bright and ready for spring which is welcome right now. I did receive a brown box today (really?, it's a holiday) with my second pair of Contessa snakeskin-bow pumps and now I know that I am a solid size 7 3/4. The 8 is too large and the 7.5 feels snug in the toe box. Does anyone own this and wore it already? I wonder if the leather stretches out with time. Not that I am keeping them at full price. I no longer pay that much for uncomfortable 'car shoes' since I already own so many.

OT: So weird that the number for the verification code was the last four of my social.

    1. I received mine yesterday in a 7 1/2, which is my true size. I actually find them to be pretty comfortable because the toe box area is quite wide. Much more comfortable than my 2 pairs of Ettas. Not to mention that they are GORGEOUS. My only issue is that I've had them on for 3 hours and they are already getting scuffed in the light color. I guess that's to be expected since they are shoes and meant to be worn!

  8. Does anyone know what the % off sale is at the B&Ms?
